Long before coffee culture was a trend, New Orleans was one of America’s great coffee ports — its docks receiving beans from across the world while a Union blockade shortage gave rise to chicory, stretching precious coffee into something entirely its own. That resourcefulness became ritual, and that ritual became identity. Every cup we pour carries a piece of that history forward.
